At 9:37 p.m., police in Phillipsburg responded to Raymond and Bullman Streets on a report of a man who had been shot, the Warren County Prosecutor's Office said. Edward Furstenberg was identified as the suspect and was arrested by police, authorities said.
Furstenberg was charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and aggravated assault, authorities said.
